To create the best living experience & environment in Marion Oaks, a municipal services taxing unit (MSTU) was created in 1994 by the County Commission. The Marion Oaks MSTU consists of two boards tasked with identifying needed projects within the community relating to general services as well as recreation & facilities.

General Services

The Marion Oaks MSTU for general services provides mowing, street lighting, waterfall maintenance, & pothole repairs within the community. All costs & services are paid via per-lot assessments.

Recreation & Facilities

The Marion Oaks MSTU for recreation & facilities provides quality recreational opportunities & facilities to the property owners & residents of Marion Oaks. These amenities are paid for via per-lot assessments. This MSTU was created by the County Commission in 1988.
