How can you help your local springs?

A spring is only as healthy as its springshed, which is the area of land that contributes water to a spring. The Silver Springs springshed covers several hundred square miles and extends into five counties.

When you see trash, pick it up and throw it away in a trash can. You can recycle cans, bottles and even fishing line.

If everyone does a little, a lot gets done! Your actions in and around the springshed affect water flowing from the spring.
