Dunnellon Oaks - Proposed Road Improvement Project

The county commission is considering creation of the Dunnellon Oaks Improvement Area for the construction of road improvements.

We will be holding a Community Meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2024 at 6 p.m. at Souls Harbor of Dunnellon - 7220 U.S. Highway 41, Dunnellon, FL 34432

At this meeting, we will present information to the public including cost estimates, contractor information and will allow for a questions and answer session. 

We will also be having a Public Hearing on Thursday, Nov. 21, 2024 at 2 p.m. at the McPherson Campus Auditorium - 601 SE 25th AVE., Ocala FL 34471

The cost of the road improvements will be funded by assessments against real property within the improvement area. The assessment for each parcel of real property is platted lots or parcels of record as of the date the assessment is imposed. A more specific description of the assessment program is included in the initial assessment resolution adopted by the county commission on Oct. 15, 2024.

Information regarding the assessment for your specific property, including the total number of platted lots or parcels of record is attached to this letter.
