The mission of the Family & Consumer Sciences program is to link education with life experience in order to help people improve their lives, the lives of their families, and impact the health and wellbeing of their communities.

Today, food-borne illness is a greater challenge to both home and commercial food handlers as our culture continues to change what, how, and when we eat. We help consumers to better understand the importance of proper food handling in order to reduce the risk of getting sick from food-borne illness. Aging & Financial Management

Are you lacking information, confidence, or support from loved ones when interacting with your health care providers? Aging is a natural process that deserves to be talked about. The Aging & Financial Management program explores ways to discuss personal values and beliefs that can be combined with best management practices for preparing your future for financial and aging success.
