We will take a walk through the streets of Downtown Ocala and learn about some of the stories behind the historic houses and the families that lived in them – and may still occupy them. They will leave you guessing – is Ocala really haunted or just good at ghost stories?
Walks & Talks is a monthly program where you can exercise, socialize, and learn all at the same time! This walk will take place at night. Transportation is provided to and from downtown starting at the Forest Community Center. Walkers will need to bring water and wear comfortable, closed toe shoes. PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED BY OCTOBER 9TH.
$10 per registrant.
This program is for adults 18+
Transportation is available, or meet at the destination. Van leaves from Forest Community Center, 777 S. CR 314A, Ocklawaha
Please bring lunch (unless otherwise indicated) and water.
Comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen/hats/sunglasses, bug spray.
