Join us as we go on a tour of the Ma Barker House at Carney Island Recreation Area and learn the history of the gangster culture and its relevance to the Ma Barker House as well as the events that occurred at the house in 1935.
Walks & Talks is a monthly program where you can exercise, socialize, and learn all at the same time! We will be stopping for lunch after the tour, so bring money to enjoy a meal! This is a daytime tour, so walkers will need to bring water and wear comfortable, closed toe shoes. Sunscreen and hats are encouraged. Transportation will be provided to and from the tour starting at the Forest Community Center, 777 S. CR 314A, Ocklawaha. PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED BY SEPTEMBER 11TH.
$10 per registrant.

Transportation is available, or meet at the destination. Van leaves from Forest Community Center, 777 S. CR 314A, Ocklawaha, at 10am.
Please bring lunch (unless otherwise indicated) and water.
