NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE MARION COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MARION COUNTY, FLORIDA, WILL HOLD A PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE MARION COUNTY, FLORIDA, LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE (LDC) AS SPECIFIED BELOW:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MARION COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE (LDC) RELATED TO SECTION 4.2.23 – RURAL COMMERCIAL (RC-1) ZONING CLASSIFICATION’S INTENT, PERMITTED USES, DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS AND DESIGN STANDARDS; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR INCLUSION IN THE LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
A public hearing conducted by the Marion County Board of County Commissioners will be held on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at 5:30 p.m. at the McPherson Governmental Campus Auditorium at 601 SE 25TH Avenue, Ocala, FL, 34471, for the purpose of considering the proposed amendments related to Marion County Land Development Code (LDC), Section 4.2.23 – Rural Commercial (RC-1) zoning classification’s intent, permitted uses, development standards and design standards.
The Marion County Board of County Commissioners shall receive and consider public comment regarding the proposed LDC amendments in this public hearing, the second of two, pursuant to Florida Statutes and the LDC.
