All families have objects they place a sentimental value on. The mantle clock Grandpa handcrafted or the sweater Aunt Anna knitted, a favorite book, a marriage license, an old report card or Grandma’s  yellow pie plate could be someone’s most cherished possession. Sometimes ownership and the passing on of these items is as  emotional as transferring titled properties. Having a plan in place makes the transfer of non-titled property a memorable experience.
