Homeowner Rehabilitation Program

This program is designed to assist homeowners with necessary repairs, or to address health, safety, and code issues in the home. The program does not cover cosmetic changes or repairs. Assistance is provided in the form of a zero-interest, deferred payment loan, forgivable after 15 years.

Mobility Ramp Program

The mobility ramp program uses Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds received from the Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) & State Housing Initiative Partnership (SHIP) to pay for portable mobility ramps for homeowners who cannot afford them. Our program offers handicapped ramps for all homes that are site built or mobile homes that were built in 1994 or newer. We also offer modification of doorways on the exterior of your home to provide handicapped accessibility.

Homebuyer Purchase Assistance 

Community Services staff members work with lenders, contractors, and realtors to help you buy an affordable home of your own. All applications are funded on a first-qualified, first-served basis as long as funding is available and will be reviewed by staff for eligibility. Funding is not guaranteed and is contingent upon final approval.

LINATA Assistance 

Our LINATA (low-income non-ad valorem tax assistance) program will begin July 2024. This program assists eligible homeowners pay the non-ad valorem portion of their 2024 county property taxes.
