LINATA assistance

Marion County's LINATA (low-income, non-ad valorem tax assistance) program opens July 1, 2024. This program is intended to assist low income persons with paying the non-ad valorem portion of their 2023 taxes.

All applications are funded on a first-qualified, first-served basis as long as funding is available and will be reviewed by staff for eligibility. Funding is not guaranteed and is contingent upon final approval.

Homeowner Rehabilitation Program 

This program is designed to assist homeowners with necessary repairs, or to address health, safety, and code issues in the home. Assistance is provided in the form of a zero-interest, deferred payment loan, forgivable after 15 years.

Homebuyer Purchase Assistance

Community Services staff members work with lenders, contractors, and realtors to help you buy an affordable home of your own. All applications are funded on a first-qualified, first-served basis as long as funding is available and will be reviewed by staff for eligibility.
