NOTICE OF NEIGHBORHOOD MEETING
The Marion County Board of County Commissioners will hold a Public Meeting for the Preliminary Engineering Report being performed for improvements to SW 38th / 40th Street. The project limits are from SW 80th Avenue to SW 43rd Court. Improvements being considered include widening SW 38th/40th Street to four lanes, multi-modal improvements, intersection improvements, and drainage retention areas within the project limits.
The Public Meeting will be conducted as an open house with maps, drawings and other pertinent information for public review from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. There will be a presentation at 5:45 p.m. to provide an overview of the project. Project representatives will be available during the meeting to discuss the project and answer questions.
This Public Meeting is being conducted to afford interested persons an opportunity to discuss proposed improvements and alternatives with project representatives. Feedback is encouraged through discussions with the project representatives along with written responses on comment cards. Public participation is solicited without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability, or family status.
